Brittany Cocchieri is an associate attorney at Safe Harbor Law Firm, where she focuses her practice on estate planning with a deep commitment to helping individuals and families protect their legacies. With a strong foundation in both litigation and public service, Brittany brings a thoughtful, client-centered approach to every plan she designs.

Brittany earned her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from The State University of New York at Oneonta before relocating to Florida to be closer to her grandparents—a move that inspired her passion for helping families plan for the future. She went on to graduate cum laude from Ave Maria School of Law in Naples, where she was awarded book awards in legal writing and legal analysis, received a full academic scholarship, and served as Executive Notes Editor of the Ave Maria Law Review, which also published her scholarly work.

Before joining Safe Harbor, Brittany gained valuable courtroom experience litigating homeowner’s insurance disputes across Florida and serving as an Assistant State Attorney for the 20th Judicial Circuit, where she prosecuted a wide range of criminal cases.

Since transitioning to estate planning, Brittany has helped hundreds of families across Southwest Florida create customized plans that reflect their values, goals, and concerns. She is a frequent speaker throughout Collier and Lee Counties, where she leads educational presentations to empower the community with knowledge about wills, trusts, incapacity planning, and asset protection. Her approachable style and clear explanations help clients feel confident in making informed decisions about their futures.
A devoted animal lover, Brittany also offers guidance on incorporating pet trusts into estate plans, ensuring that beloved furry family members are cared for with the same attention and compassion as any other beneficiary.

Outside the office, Brittany enjoys spending time at the beach, running, and relaxing with her husband, their dog, and two cats.
