Brittany Cocchieri is an attorney at Safe Harbor Law Firm, where she focuses her practice on estate planning and is deeply committed to helping individuals and families protect what matters most. Known for her thoughtful, client-centered approach, Brittany has helped hundreds of individuals and families throughout Southwest Florida create personalized estate plans that reflect their values, goals, and long-term wishes.

Brittany earned her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from The State University of New York at Oneonta before relocating to Florida to be closer to her grandparents—a move that sparked her passion for guiding families through the planning process. She went on to graduate cum laude from Ave Maria School of Law in Naples, where she received a full academic scholarship, earned book awards in legal writing and legal analysis, and served as Executive Notes Editor of the Ave Maria Law Review, which also published her scholarly work.

Before joining Safe Harbor, Brittany gained extensive courtroom experience litigating homeowner’s insurance disputes across Florida and serving as an Assistant State Attorney for the 20th Judicial Circuit, where she prosecuted a wide range of criminal cases. This background gives her a practical, detail-oriented perspective that she now applies to proactively protecting her clients and their families.

Today, Brittany focuses exclusively on estate planning, working closely with clients to design comprehensive strategies for wills, trusts, incapacity planning, and asset protection. She is a frequent speaker throughout Collier and Lee Counties, where she leads educational workshops aimed at empowering the community with clear, practical knowledge. Her approachable style and ability to simplify complex legal concepts allow clients to feel confident and informed every step of the way.

A passionate animal lover, Brittany also enjoys helping clients incorporate pet trusts into their plans, ensuring beloved pets are cared for with the same level of thought and protection as any other family member.
Outside the office, Brittany enjoys spending time at the beach, running, and relaxing with her husband, their dog, and two cats.
