Amy Neaher, Esq. – Senior Associate Attorney

Paralegal

Amy Meghan Neaher is an experienced Florida attorney whose practice focuses on probate, trust administration, estate planning, and special needs planning. With more than two decades of legal experience, she brings a steady, informed, and compassionate approach to guiding families through some of life’s most complex transitions.

Before returning to private practice, Amy served as a General Civil Magistrate for the Twentieth Judicial Circuit in Lee County, where she presided over a broad range of civil matters. Her judicial experience deepened her understanding of courtroom dynamics, strengthened her analytical precision, and reinforced her commitment to fairness, clarity, and efficient resolution.

Amy previously managed her own law firm for nearly twenty years, representing personal representatives, trustees, and families in probate and trust matters from initial intake through final distribution. She is known for her meticulous statutory interpretation, strong legal writing, and collaborative work with financial advisors, CPAs, and fiduciaries to ensure seamless estate outcomes.

A significant part of Amy’s practice is devoted to special needs planning. She is passionate about helping families protect vulnerable loved ones through thoughtfully structured trusts, long-term planning strategies, and clear guidance that empowers caregivers. Her work in this area reflects both her technical expertise and her deep commitment to client-centered advocacy.

Amy earned her Juris Doctor from the District of Columbia School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts in Government from Shippensburg University. She is admitted to the Florida Bar and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.

Outside her legal practice, Amy is actively involved in the Special Olympics and broader special needs advocacy efforts, reflecting her longstanding dedication to supporting individuals with disabilities and their families. She and her husband are the proud parents of two children, and she enjoys spending her free time gardening and traveling with her family.
